Conservation and gilding
We provide conservation and gilding services in churches and other cultural properties, and undertake work on cultural-historical objects, art, frames, and decorations. Gold leaf and traditional techniques where the surface should be cared for, not unnecessarily replaced.
Assignments are often carried out in consultation with an antiquarian and with permits where required. Careful craftsmanship in environments that matter.
Cultural and building preservation
Restoration and maintenance assignments in cultural environments: buildings, facades and spaces that need to be preserved. Indoors and outdoors, in historic settings and where new details need to blend in.
When the assignment requires it, maintenance, roofing and simple masonry work are also included — with the same level of precision as in the studio.
Painting and Wood Craftsmanship
Window renovation, wallpapering, paper stretching, decorative painting, graining and marbling — in the studio and on-site. Minor carpentry work is included: furniture, doors, hatches and interior joinery when needed for a polished result.
The same skilled hand to recreate historic painting and to give a modern space a more personal touch.
Painting and maintenance
Standard painting is included — linseed oil, red paint and traditional systems where appropriate, modern materials where they do the job better. Indoors and outdoors, in cultural environments and everyday rooms.
Property maintenance when it is a natural part of the assignment. Always the same demands on surface and finish.
